Staff Work-at-Home Media License Terms

Staff members (teaching and administrative) are covered for work-at-home use for Microsoft products that are covered by their respective Agreement. Only those Microsoft products that are installed on a user's workplace computer can be installed on one home computer for work purposes. The software must be registered to the school during the installation and not to the individual, as the school owns the licenses. If the employee terminates employment the software must be immediately uninstalled from their home computer and the media destroyed.

  1. Who can purchase Microsoft Work-At-Home (WAH) software?
    This program is available to all staff. This includes:
    - School teachers (part-time and Full-time)
    - Administration staff at the School (part-time and Full-time)
  2. What Microsoft products are available for purchase?
    These are listed on the individual School order page under Education
  3. How many copies of each product can I purchase?
    One copy per product per Teacher is allowed which is why it defaults to one.
  4. What if I have 2 computers at home and I want the software on both?
    You can install the WAH software on 1 machine only. It can either be a laptop or pc. If you require additional copies, you can purchase these from your local software retail store, such as Harvey Norman or other consumer suppliers.
  5. Can I place my order over the phone or by FAX?
    No. You must enter the order ONLINE on this web site.
  6. How long will it take me to receive my software?
    Please allow up to 10 working days. Generally if your order is in by noon it will be processed that day and posted out via registered post the next day.
  7. How is the software sent?
    It is sent via Registered Post by Australia Post.
  8. Can I have it sent to my home address?
    No. Software will only be despatched to your work address. Please keep in mind that these are posted out with Australia Post and the address needs to be clear so it reaches you as your normal mail would.
  9. Can I ask for software to be sent during the school holidays?
    No. Unfortunately software can NOT be shipped during any school holidays.
  10. Can I collect my order form Simply Technology Pty Ltd?
    No. All orders will be dispatched by Registered Post.
  11. If my computer crashes, is rebuilt, or if when I upgraded my operating system I lost my WAH software, what do I do?
    Because these disks have a unique once install key an email needs to be sent to licensinghelp@sigroup.com.au explaining the problem, it needs to contain your school and your name. You will be asked to supply a Statutory Declaration explaining what has happened to the original software. Upon assessment an email confirmation may be sent with approval to order an additional media kit. Outside of this process no duplicate orders will be filled.
