1. Q: What is Microsoft Office University?
A: Microsoft Office University 2010 is a boxed product (with DVD, but product key provided only upon successful online verification) that replaces Microsoft Office Professional Academic 2010. A downloadable version of the product is also available. The new product name reflects the updated customer eligibility: Microsoft Office University is for higher-education students and higher-education teachers only.
2. Q: What applications are included in the Microsoft Office University products?
A: Microsoft Office University 2010 includes the 2010 versions of: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher and Access.
This is restricted for sale to and use by full and part time, enrolled University, College or TAFE student and teaching staff in accredited institutions.
3. Q: Who is eligible to buy Microsoft Office University?
Microsoft Office University 2010 is for higher-education students and higher-education teachers only.
K-12 students are not eligible for Microsoft Office University.

4. Q: What is the recommended product for families with K-12 students?
A: Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 will continue to be the recommended product for parents and families with K-12 students.
5. Q: Does Microsoft Office University contain a Product Key?
A: Microsoft Office University 2010 does not contain a product key. Customers who purchase a boxed version of the product will be required to verify their university student or teacher status online after purchase but before receiving the product key or activating the product. Customers who choose to purchase the downloadable version of the product will be verified before completing purchase. This product will not work without successful verification as the customer will not have a product key.
6. Q: How will a higher education student know how to use the product?
A: The packaging clearly communicates customer eligibility along with notification that proof of eligibility is required before a user can use this software. Packaging content includes:
Eligibility: Full and part time, enrolled University, College or TAFE student and teaching staff in accredited institutions; including College, University, Vocational School, Scientific or Technical School. Alumni of these institutions are ineligible.
Submit Proof: Customers will be required to verify their eligibility online to use the software.

2. You should log on with your Windows Live ID or create one using any email address.
3. You should provide your school email address or logon, or international student identity card (ISIC)
9. Q: What if I buy this and am not a University student or University teacher?
A: If someone other than a University student or University teacher buys this product, it cannot be used. The product can be returned for a refund of the cost of the product less the postage if still sealed in the plastic packaging. Please send an email to licensinghelp@sigroup.com.au for instructions.
10. Q: What happens I fail to verify that I am a higher education student or higher education teacher?
A: If the customer is an eligible university student or faculty staff member and cannot verify through the online verification process, you will be provided with a manual verification process where you can submit your University, TAFE or college ID or international student identity card for manual verification.
11. Q: Can I use the product key obtained from the Microsoft Office University 2010 verification process to activate Office 2010 software on a “preloaded PC”?
A: Yes. The Office University 2010 product key can “unlock” the Office 2010 software on a preloaded PC.

Delivery
Once your order is received it should be despatched within 2-10 working days. Please email SI Group at licensinghelp@sigroup.com.au if you have not received your order within two weeks after the order has been sent.
Shipping
Our Shipping and Handling charge provides for an insured registered delivery to your door. Australia Post will require a signature as proof of delivery.
You will receive an email on the day of despatch- confirming shipping details and an Australia Post tracking reference number.
Faulty Media
Although strict quality controls are used to ensure the media you receive is premium quality, there may be the odd occasion when the media you receive is faulty. In this circumstance it will be necessary for you to return the faulty media to the media dispatchers, SI Group, for testing and replacement. Please send the original product to Locked bag 1, Cammeray NSW 2062 with a copy of the original tax invoice and a note explaining the problem being experienced. Faulty media must be reported within 21 days of receipt.
